Business Intelligence

After a long search for what I need, I finally found something that helps a lot Asaya in this business world.

Finally I knew about - everything - about the reporting software. (And yes, my friends say I should get out of the basement again.) Because in my last company, we use a "market leader" in reporting and business intelligence. Suck. It's boring (individual fields formatted! Come?) And I keep getting distracted by colleagues with question after question.

Big thanks to Santosh, my new boss who gave me the strength to try and ultimately choose the reporting and document generation software for our company. There are some who can help me. It should be able to work with SQL statements and XML reports. Our data is everywhere, but especially SQL database and XML files. We will not waste time transferring everything into a data storage format even though we try to avoid the Excel data and reports.

Our company has many different programmers and reliable, so also must deal with reports of Java. Report net, C #, visual basic report, and C + + statements. And even better if it could make a report Python, PHP and Ruby reports reports. (Not to sound too greedy, but that's my wish list. We have a cool new programmer who has always bothered me about the ruby ​​on rails report. Let me find something so I could dump a bunch of this work to others.)

I'm in the middle of the Windward Reports demoing and so far it's WAY better than what I'm used to. They talk about software and business intelligence reporting and says they can be used to report java, dotnet csharp reports and statements. In our initial testing, which has handled everything we've thrown at it.

It's fast and strong. It did not take long to design my first report. (Actually, I asked one HR person for the design template - it was designed in about 20 minutes I just need to tweak the data tag ..) And it seems they will launch a software programming language agnostic. But we will explore all Windward will be able to do so. And do not get me started on Excel report ...
